The excellent results of shavings are attributed to these five shaving items that you must try. Having them in your shaving regimen makes you worry free. May it be dry skin, oily, normal or combination, the following things will do well to you:
1. Shaving brush makes the act easily by making the shaving cream lather on the face and keeps away the hairs from sticking into the skin. These then facilitates the blade to cut the hair the way you want it to be. The materials used for this shaving brush came from animal hair but some are made artificially. Silicone brush is what I prefer to use on my own shaving because it does not cause me skin damages and it works well in setting my hair that is to be shaved.
2. Shaving cream. Previously, when shaving creams are not yet common, we use glycerin soap to lather up. Yet, it is still being used by people who have straight razors in their hands. On the other hand, the drying and scratchy feel effects of ordinary soap and water make it difficulty for the razor to move smoothly on the face. There are also hypo-allergenic shaving creams; people with sensitive skin may take this a choice in carefully going over the products. It is observed that while shaving or even after the cleaning, flashing and swelling occurs in sensitive skin.
3. There are different types of razors and shavers. Depending on personal preferences you may like an electric shaver much more than a wet razor. Personally, I find that using a straight razor gives the closest shave and an electric shaver gives the least closest. In both situations you will need to make sure that you are careful and protect your skin from problems.
4. Majority of men have a wrong notion about applying facial moisturizers. However, note that during shaving, deep seated dirt as well as oils are being cleaned, leaving the skin to dry out immediately. Moisturizing may somehow prevent occurrence of skin damages.
5. Water is another important shaving item. In fact it is best to use warm water to open your pores and cold water to keep the razor blade sharp.
For the easiest shave around, you will want to purchase electric razors or electric shavers for a close shave. Getting rid of hair does not have to be painful.
