Child Safety Door Knob Lock

I can understand the safety plugs for electrical outlets and the plastic cabinet latches to keep the toddlers from getting to poisons, but using the latches for every cabinet, the child proof door knob protectors, the on off Safety Lock, and Safety Bracket (that keeps children from climbing on things). These things to me are just an easy way for parents to sit on their butts and not have to teach their children the word 'NO'. I do understand that we need to child proof somethings in our home to keep them from being badly injured and from getting very sick, but we also have to do our jobs as parents and teach our children what they are not allowed to get into and what they are allowed to get into. We also have the job as parents to keep an eye on our children, which means getting up off our bottoms and sometimes chasing them around. Sure it can be work and exhausting, but this is th only real way a child can learn the words 'YES' and 'NO'!!
