A better baby monitor?
We got the Fisher Price Lights and Sounds monitor for Olivia at my shower.....up until Olivia was 7 months she slept in her Pack and Play with us so we didn't really use it. To be honest I hate this monitor. It buzzes horribly, makes a screeching sound when I go in her room, and the plug connection falls out of the monitor part so easily. I can also hear everything thats going on at my neighbors 2 doors down...they have a child as well.
Olivia is 10 months and I would like to get a good new monitor thats not too pricey. Any suggestions?

We live in the city, in an apartment full of electronics and it picks up *nothing*. We've had it for nine months. I really have only good things to say except that the rechargeables it came with were junk. But once I bought my own set we've had no issues.
