The school mums are so nasty?
I am a childminder and have recently employed an assistant. We thought that it would be a great idea to put high vis yellow vests on the children for safety reasons and because it would promote my business. Then another childminder discovered through school mums, nursery mums and mums from a toddler group in the area and thought it was hallarious. I don't see how me and my friend and a gaggle of kids is a problem wearing these things. It is quite upsetting to know that they are talking about us and saying horrid things when I am trying to make my setting a business. Afterall it costs a fortune to advertise, I thought it would be a great idea. Should we just put them on the kids and the adults not wear them? Or have the school mums won?
Ignore them, we live in central London and my sons school and other local schools sell them with the school name on them and they suggest they are worn to and from school on darker days, they also put some of the money towards children in need. Those women obviously have nothing better to do with their time than stand around putting others down to make themselves feel better. They need a hobby, one that doesn't involve making others feel bad. Why shouldn't you wear them if you want to? It means the kids can see you and as a mother I would think it looked like you were well organised and thinking about safety.
