switched 22 month old to toddler bed (safety reasons), now wont nap unless driving in car?
and if i skip a nap altogether, he is cranky until bed time. REALLY cranky.
i still try to put him down for naps but he just jumps around his room and reads books and eventually comes out to find me after 45 minutes or so.
any suggestions.
i should mention i also tried getting him to nap with me on my bed and/or couch.. i'm also 6 months pregnant so i cant really let him fall asleep laying on top of me.
My son has been the same way since we switched him to the toddler bed. He will not take a nap, but then around 6:00 p.m. he is so cranky.
We put him in there at the same time every day and make him stay in there until he takes a nap or at least until he is quiet for awhile.
I don't have much advise for you, but I can sympathize.
